Kwankwaso Directs 'Incoming PDP Governor' Not To Pay N30,000 Minimum Wage In Kano

Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the Peoples party (PDP) in Kano, has charged the incoming governor of the state, Abba Yusuf, to not pay N30, 000 wage to workers saying the quantity isn't a PDP administration's plan
Kwankwaso, a former governor of the state, who addressed a gaggle of Kwankwassiyya supporters in Kaduna, said the PDP is bound of victory within the supplementary election and can not continue with the payment of N30, 000 earnings as promised workers by Ganduje.
Incumbent Governor, Umar Ganduje
“As the leader of the party in Kano, i've got directed our Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, to not pay the pay because that's the APC manifesto and that we won't take it," Kwanllkwas said.

Abba Yusuf
"Anyway, we'll make sure that workers get their salaries on or before the 25th of each month, but what we are going to not do is to pay the wage."
At the time the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the Kano governorship election inconclusive, PDP’s Yusuf had polled 1,014,474 votes while APC’s Ganduje had 987,819.
However, the margin of 26,655 votes between the 2 top candidates meant it had been impossible for INEC to declare a winner.”
